Side Note: Is anyone else going to the NRA annual meetings and exhibits in Pittsburgh? David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, PA APR 29-MAY 1. I unfortunately have an obligation in exactly that time-frame. sunday night works for me but i dont want to go to a bar, its too loud. the cathedral works for me The Cathedral sounds good. May I propose the auditorium-style room in the eastern corner of the ground floor?

I actually have never had a class in the cathedral so if someone could give directions as to how to get wherever we're meeting it would probably help me find you guys.

For those who didn't make it, we're meeting again in G24 at 9:30pm next Sunday. Bring recruits, or the names of recruits, if you can: we need 10+ full-time students and a faculty advisor before we can file an application with SORC.

I've gotten 2 additional people already. So if the rest of us (the original 4-5) get 2 each we should be set with the SORC paperwork. Are we all good with the new name? (UPSC)

I've got a handful of people, so as long as we get a full-time faculty/staff adviser and perhaps a couple more members, we should be set.
I personally approve of calling ourselves the University of Pittsburgh Sportsman's Club.

I think we should be set with the minimum member requirement. I've got at least 3, Austin has a handful of people, and Tuc got 2 more. (Also has anyone been in contact with Aaron?) Emery said he was going to talk to his professor - so hopefully the prof will want to put his name behind us. We might have to schedule a meeting with him to explain our ideas and such. We'll also have to figure out a way to appoint a president, vice president and business manager. But by the next time we meet we should be able to submit the application. I approve too. As long as everyone else is on board, I think it's a good idea - we can attract a broader group of members.

(Also has anyone been in contact with Aaron?) I was just thinking about that--I'll send him an email right now.
